Grade 1 Welcome Letter and Supply List

Dear First Grade Families

Welcome to First Grade! We are so excited to be your teachers this year! We are going to have so much fun learning new things, making new friends, and growing together. Every day will be full of new adventures.

We can’t wait to get to know you and hear all about your favorite things—like what you love to do, your favorite books, and what you’re excited to learn.

Our first day of school is going to be awesome, and we’ll be there to help you every step of the way.

The following supplies will be needed for first grade:

·          3 two pocket folders – 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 green (no plastic)

·          3 wide-ruled composition notebooks (non-spiral)

·          2 pairs of 5” scissors

·          2 packages of bold tip markers- 8 count

·          2 boxes of 24 count crayons

·          2 packages of colored pencils

·          2 packages of black EXPO dry erase markers – 8 count

·          6 pink rubber erasers

           3 boxes of pencils: pre-sharpened – 12 count

·          1 supply box

·          12 glue sticks

·          1 small dry erase eraser

·          2 boxes of tissues

·          2 containers of Clorox wipes

·          1 package of quart sized Ziploc bags

·          1 bottle hand sanitizer

·          Post-it Notes

·          3 x 5 Index Cards

·          A pair of wired headphones (no bluetooth)
